Mixed Fruit Yogurt:
This delicious mixed fruit yogurt is a great snack or breakfast option. It is highly nutritious with a great amount of protein, fiber, healthy fats, and other nutrients. Ingredients:
3-5 large strawberries
¼ cup blueberries
¾ cup (170g) Siggi’s plain Icelandic yogurt (or Greek yogurt)
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tbsp cinnamon
1-2 tbsp chia seeds/ground flax seeds
Optional: Mix and match your favorite fruits with this recipe and prepare the same way as the strawberries and blueberries!
Cooking Instructions:
Soak strawberries and blueberries in water with 1 tsp of baking soda for 15 minutes, then rinse.
Add berries to blender and blend to your desired texture (20-30 seconds).
Add yogurt, blended berries, maple syrup, olive oil, and cinnamon to bowl, mix and enjoy! :)
